Ingredients

1kg Green Beans Fresh or Frozen
500g Meat cubes (preferably Lamb shanks or shin Beef)
2 Onions diced
6 Cloves of Garlic chopped
1 Can of Tomato Puree
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
Salt & All Spice (Pimento) to taste
1.5 Litre of water
3 tbsp Cooking Oil

Directions

Put oil in a saucepan and cook onion and garlic until slightly coloured.

Add meat cubes and cook to brown, season with salt and all spice.

Add beans, mix well with meat and cook for about fifteen minutes.

Add tomato puree and paste and cover well with water.

Bring to the boil, and then reduce the heat and leave to simmer until meat is tender. Serve with rice.
